Inventory Associate / Cycle Counter

Randstad is recruiting for an Inventory Clerk for a temporary to permanent opening at a Southaven distribution center. If you are an experienced Inventory Clerk or have experience in a warehouse environment performing inventory adjustments and cycle counting, this may be the ideal long term position for you. In this role, the ideal candidate will perform a variety of essential inventory related functions to audit and support warehouse operations to accurately process customer orders. Functions include inventory exceptions investigation and correction, primary pick location maintenance, product marking corrections, random and directed cycle counts, various audits, and physical inventory preparation and execution.
Duties and responsibilities :
-Investigates inventory exceptions related to customer orders (back orders) and communicates results
-Record cause of variances and submits transfer or adjustment requests for immediate correction
-Communicates with Receiving Team to identify new products and assigns primary pick locations within one day of receipt
-Ensures location assignments and changes are complete to include labeling, system entry, primary inventory physically moved, and overstock physically moved
-Conducts a variety of audits to ensure accuracy and procedure compliance as directed
-Assists with various projects to include annual physical inventory preparation and execution
Working hours: 8am - 5pm
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience in inventory control and cycle counting
- Proven experience in working with Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience with using RF scanners
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide
