Reviews denials and is responsible for the evaluation, coordination, and appeal of third party review determinations and interventions pertinent to the reimbursement process, as well as other concerns that result from monitoring activities. Assists in insurance verification for all patient types as well as pre-certification assistance for Case Management and Admissions. Reports to the Director of Case Management. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Description: Three years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
Experience Minimum Required: Three years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
Experience Preferred/Desired: Five years clinical experience and at least two years case management/payer experience.
Special Skills Description: Excellent communication skills. Advanced computer literacy skills.
