Summary:_ _
Responsible for the distributing, tracking, handling, and identifying all inventory material, as well as, the daily follow-up of all warehouse related functions involving the operation of the company. Perform all inventory transactions related to the maintenance of inventory accuracy in the computerized MRP system.
Essential Job Functions:_ _
Pack or package by hand a wide variety of products and materials. Mark and label containers, container tags, or products. Measure, weigh, and count products and materials. Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. Record product, packaging, and order information.
Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, or warehouse. Keep records and compile stock reports. Pack and unpack items to be stocked. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock.
Load and unload heavy merchandise from trailers. Move material within a warehouse. May require the use of a pallet jack or a hand truck. Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications and shelf life expiration.
Perform correct inventory practices as related to all system picking, packing and put-away transactions.
Follow requirements for proper storage and location of all inventory items.
Cross-train in other Distribution Center roles.
Perform Inventory Cycle Counting.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to the satisfaction of the Warehouse Supervisor. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required.
Education and/or
Experience:_ _
High School diploma or equivalent experience required. Knowledge of computerized MRP systems helpful.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:_ _
Ability to input and analyze computerized MRP system transactions. Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent people and communication skills. Knowledge of or ability to understand/apply industry standard material movement procedures and practices. Ability to use the Hand scanner, Bar Code labeling and scale system effectively and efficiently preferred.
