The ideal candidate will have experience in a Dental office setting and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer a multi-line phone system, direct calls to appropriate parties, and schedule appointments.
Check patients in for surgery, ensuring consent form is filled out and money due is collected.
Check patients out, discuss treatment plans, and schedule follow up visits.
Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and amount due for pre-pays prior to appointment.
Collect and process payments.
Set up new patient charts and input patient data in electronic medical records system, WINOMS.
Manage patient records and files.
Mail out referral letters.
Ensure the schedule is full and efficient.
Enjoy interacting with patients and working in a team environment.
Requirements:
Experience in a medical or dental office setting (oral surgery preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain an outgoing and friendly attitude with patients and staff.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, multi-line phones, and electronic medical records systems.
High school diploma or equivalent.
