Responsibilities:
- Greeting guest entering facility, making sure door is being opened for each funeral comer - Assisting with visitations and funerals, pushing caskets, directing traffic, transferring flowers around the funeral home and/or to the cemetery - Light facility cleaning, making sure everything is picked up and neat for the next funeral/event - Running errands on occasion that may include:
picking up supplies, post office, etc.
- Occasionally working evening visitations/funerals and weekends - Provide heavy lifting assistance as needed for event setup and breakdown/Lifting caskets and other light lifting/moving - 15-35 hours (not necessarily guarantied) Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED - Clean driving record - Positive attitude - Proactive - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time - Professional work attire Job Type:
