We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Title Clerk.
This person will be responsible for preparing the transfer of vehicle titles, working with multiple state departments of motor vehicles, maintaining databases and files, assisting HR with onboarding, and other onsite office duties as assigned by the manager.
Duties:
- Daily deposit count and bank runs - Reviewing, recording, and filing deal paperwork - Preparing title work for ownership transfer and in some cases walking in title work to tag agencies - Processing mail and paperwork to the accounting department electronically and by mail - Processing employee paperwork to the HR department electronically - Maintain Form 8300 and requirements - Maintain on-hand supply orders - Obtain Form W-9 from vendors as required - Maintain accurate records of all title transactions and documentation - Stay updated on changes in vehicle registration laws and regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Title Clerk or a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of title processing procedures and vehicle registration is preferred - Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers - Ability to gather and analyze information and resolve problems - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines accurately and thoroughly Job Type:
